O.J. Simpson’s Executor Seeks to Liquidate Assets to Pay Debts

The executor of O.J. Simpson’s estate, Malcolm LaVergne, is working to recoup over $269,000 from one of Simpson’s homes in Las Vegas. LaVergne, who previously served as Simpson’s lawyer, is now responsible for managing his probate estate after Simpson’s death last April.

LaVergne’s efforts to liquidate Simpson’s assets are part of a broader effort to pay off the former NFL star’s debts from beyond the grave. With numerous outstanding obligations, the executor is taking a more aggressive approach to ensure the estate can meet its financial obligations.
