Controversial YouTuber Jack Doherty, known for his reckless driving videos, has been banned from the live-streaming platform Kick after crashing his McLaren on a Miami highway. The 20-year-old influencer, who has nearly 15 million followers, was allegedly distracted by his phone while driving in heavy rain when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guardrail.

The incident was captured on camera by Doherty’s passenger, who was live-streaming at the time. Footage shows Doherty looking down at his phone moments before the crash. After the accident, Doherty can be seen more concerned about recording the aftermath than checking on his injured passenger, who suffered facial injuries and required stitches.

The streaming platform Kick has since banned Doherty, stating that it “does not condone illegal activity.” Doherty has a history of controversial behavior, including posting videos of himself flipping over a golf cart and an off-road vehicle. The influencer has promised to provide a “more detailed response” about the incident, acknowledging that he is “grateful” he and his passenger are alive, but also apologizing for putting his friend through the ordeal.
