Man Claims to Receive Raw Chicken Burgers in Delivery

A North Vancouver man claims he received raw chicken burgers in his KFC delivery order. Josh Webb ordered four chicken burgers from KFC on Uber Eats, but after taking a bite, he discovered they were raw in the middle. Webb said the other burgers were raw as well.

Webb contacted the KFC location, but he claims they did not take his concerns seriously. Global News reached out to KFC but did not receive a response. A food safety expert from the University of British Columbia stated that the alleged incident is very serious, as undercooked chicken can contain harmful bacteria like salmonella and E. coli, which can be life-threatening, especially for children and older people.

Webb has since filed a food safety complaint with Vancouver Coastal Health. The incident highlights the importance of proper food handling and cooking practices, especially in the food service industry, to ensure the safety and well-being of customers.
