Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment are expanding their superhero movie universes with a lineup of upcoming films.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will continue its Multiverse Saga in Phases 5 and 6, with movies like Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Blade, Avengers: Doomsday, and Avengers: Secret Wars. These films will introduce new characters and storylines, as well as bring back familiar faces. For example, Anthony Mackie will make his big-screen debut as the new Captain America, while Robert Downey Jr. is set to return as Doctor Doom.
Meanwhile, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is also expanding, with projects like Venom: The Last Dance, Kraven The Hunter, and several other Spider-Man-related films in development. These movies may feature crossovers with the MCU, as the two studios continue to collaborate on the web-slinger’s cinematic adventures.
Beyond the upcoming theatrical releases, Marvel also has a slate of TV shows in the works, including Agatha: All Along, Daredevil: Born Again, and Ironheart, among others. These series will further expand the MCU and explore new characters and storylines across various platforms.
